Edward Weston
Personal Profile:
Hello!
My Name is Edward Weston, I was born on March 24th in 1886 in Highland Park, Illinois. When I was 16 years old, my father gave me my first camera for my birthday, it was a Kodak Bull’s-Eye #2. I fell in love with my camera and photography.
I had a lot of different photo subjects like including landscapes, still lifes, nudes, portraits and genre scenes, but my favorite thing to do were highly detailed photographic images. You can see some of my images below.
I opened my own business in 1910, through this I got to know many inspirational artists like Margrethe Mather, Charles Sheeler, Clarence H. White and Gertrude Kasebier.
