Andreas Gursky
Guten tag! My name is Andreas Gursky. I am a German photographer and was born in 1955. My work has been featured in galleries in Germany, Japan, the US, and the UK. Since the 1990s, I have digitally manipulated some images to enhance the sense of scale, but for any taken before then I used traditional techniques.

About my art:
I like to really suck viewers into my work - my photos often leave the viewer with a sense of vertigo. I really like to take photographs of commercial/consumerist symbols, like dollar stores or Amazon warehouses, and I usually print them as huge panoramas - some of them up to six feet high by ten feet long.
